Here it is folks, Maybe Someday in physical form! I designed the layout for the cover and disc myself. Coming in a basic slip jacket, the packaging is reminiscent of a vinyl record. I only had 100 of these made, so get one while you can. I don't know about you, but I always go for a first pressing. Why wait till everyone else has had their fun with the album?

You can't undo the pencil days You may not win but at least you played Driving the roads where no one goes You can't hit the highs without going way down low You're needle's stuck in the same old groove Been looking for signs of what to do The time is short but it's enough If you've got someone to call your bluff Twisting in the wind When it stops it won't start again Sifting through my dreams With the world bursting at its seams If everyday is judgement day Then do what you think and not what you say When wishes made just don't come true The only one bringing you down is you Twisting in the wind When it stops it won't start again Sifting through my dreams With the world bursting at its seams

I sold off everything Except my El Camino So I can drift along On the open road Poppies and mustard greens Lead me on my way I'll stop in to get a drink Then slip out and forget to pay Cause I'm waiting I've been waiting I'm still waiting For the world to catch up with me Wild at heart and weird on top I could slow down but I'd rather not Wild at heart and weird on top I'd give you more but that's all I've got Talk to the radio Plush clouds and Jeffrey Pines Hand out to surf the breeze Far from a waste of time Cause I'm waiting I've been waiting I'm still waiting For the world to catch up with me Wild at heart and weird on top I could slow down but I'd rather not Wild at heart and weird on top I'd give you more but that's all I've got Most nights I sleep alone Trees dance, cayotes sing Bask in the starry sky Drift off into a dream

The Fire 03:21
The fire The fire Is burning up the mountain side Go find her Go find her We'll make it out of this alive Don't let go Don't let go of my hand Through the smoke Through the smoke if we can We'll drive all the way to the coastline The sun is fading out but we still feel it shine The fire The fire Has got me drowning on my breath It's dire It's dire I don't want this to be my death Don't let go Don't let go of my hand Through the smoke Through the smoke if we can Still so far away from the coastline We'll get there one day but maybe not this time The look she gave me Her eyes could save me I'm not drifting away She was driving I was smiling That's when the promise was made The fire The fire

Excuse me, can you help me please I'm heading to Los Angeles, the road's unknown I think that it's my destiny To write some timeless melodies and songs You're wrong Why don't you just give it up? Cause no one cares about the stuff That you've got to say Another guy with a guitar Who thinks he's gonna be a star How'd you lose your way? Go home Alright buddy hit the gas There's someone nice who's bound to pass my way today Hey there thanks for slowing down I've been trying to leave this town for years Oh dear You can squeeze there in the back But you might have to hold your bag If that's alright with you I could use the company I'd love to hear your whole story I'll tell you about my too So, what do you say? I say "So long, people! I'm gone!" I'm finally moving on I left the ghosts of my past Under an overpass I know that nothing's guaranteed You go cause if you never leave Your story's incomplete It started when I was a boy I somehow got this little toy guitar Bizarre I learned to play and learned to write Some dreams fade and some just might come true And you? I was up in Paradise When fires came and took my wife I lost all I could lose I packed my car with what remained To head down south and start again I couldn't face the truth So, that's when I said I said "So long, people! I'm gone!" I'm finally moving on I left the ghosts of my past Under an overpass I know that nothing's guaranteed You go cause if you never leave Your story's incomplete It's time to go our separate ways We both made a friend today Let me thank you for the ride Take good care and call me anytime

There's a sign But I can hardly see it I can barely read it It's just there beyond those rolling hills Where the wind is quiet and the water is still Hand left, then hook a right And then go back where you came If anything happens to happen You don't wanna be the one to blame The truth is out there If you look real close The false is out there too We see that the most Some days are perfectly golden While the others rust Once you're surrounded by yes-men There's no one left to trust Take me away I'm done for the day Reset my mind Just a small fee to pay And I can't stand to do this anymore It's like my life's been tucked away inside a drawer Like that shirt you had to buy but never wore Closing remarks On this future of mine I'm walking the path One step at a time There's a sign

Tug of War 03:01
I was aimless I was rambling Through the canyons of my mind Searching for lost times I was lonely I was haunted By pictures of those years They still bring me to tears I was playing a game of mental tug of war It keeps on going cause nobody's keeping score Yeah I was straight-faced I was straight-laced It came so naturally Like trading tragedies I was wanted I was vacant I tried to take your call My back was to the wall I was playing a game of mental tug of war It keeps on going cause nobody's keeping score Think it over Getting closer Oh what's the use I still can't choose I was tapped out I was lying But only to myself I don't need no one's help I was packed up I was moving Back where I belong Going, going, gone I was playing a game of mental tug of war It keeps on going cause nobody's keeping score I was playing a game of mental tug of war It keeps on going cause nobody's keeping score Yeah Yeah, yeah, yeah Take it Charlie

I wish that I was on a train Instead of sitting in this car I've got one foot upon the brake And a hand over my heart It's thumping fast just like the sound Of my worn out wiper blades The rain is falling by the pound And I just wanna get there safe If I never make it home And this is all that's left of me Take my body and my bones So my mom don't have to see If we never meet again You don't ever have to cry Cause you'll know where I'll be then A better home up in the sky All my knuckles drained to white From my grip around the wheel If I do survive this drive I'll tell her how I really feel I'll take a hard look at my life Cause this ain't how I want to be I think about her every night And dream about her when I sleep If I never make it home And this is all that's left of me Take my body and my bones So my mom don't have to see If we never meet again You don't ever have to cry Cause you'll know where I'll be then A better home up in the sky A car came flying from behind I had to brake and lost control The car went slamming into mine And now I'm wrapped around a pole As my vision starts to fade And sirens ring into the night I slowly whispered out your name Then drifted off into the light If I never make it home And this is all that's left of me Take my body and my bones So my mom don't have to see If we never meet again You don't ever have to cry Cause you'll know where I'll be then A better home up in the sky

So Have You 03:11
Love me or leave me Its on the rocks With miles between us Or a handful of blocks A love like ours should make you live But sometimes it takes more than it gives As seasons change I've changed some too And so have you So have you Let's not forget how we met Let's not pretend it's not the end Love me or leave me It's in the air Our dye is fading With every wear A love like ours can make you sick Some time to grow should do the trick As seasons change I've changed some too And so have you So have you Let's not forget how we met Let's not pretend it's not the end

I wanted to be a boat out at see Instead I'm a car, but I don't go very far I get out every day, but I don't have a say The roads that I meet are all right down the street I just wish that I could roam the backroads of the world And play a bigger part Somehow leave my mark Without falling apart I wanted to fly like a bird in the night Up there with the moon, singing my favorite tune I am starting to age, I'm losing my pace I'm well past my prime, but I still know how to shine I just wish that I could roam the backroads of the world And play a bigger part Somehow leave my mark But I'm falling apart

Psychic Sara Is selling spiritual guidance In a shack off the 113 You've got to get lost just to find it There's the queen of heaven In the back of a hearse Stuck in traffic on the way to her grave Her week keeps getting worse I don't wanna go back the way I came Adolescent backroads that haven't changed It's gonna take some time To get where you're going There's an antique church Out on Parish Road It's called The Gateway to Paradise It's a pity nobody goes The glory days are gone There's nothing left for us You can't live nowhere but the middle states But I'm not making a fuss I don't wanna go back the way I came Adolescent backroads that haven't changed It's gonna take some time To get where you're going I saw a distant late night train Floating through the dark Flashing lights and smokestack flames From the industrial park Getting lost and left behind Just needing something to do Spending money and wasting time Taking in the same old view I don't wanna go back the way I came Adolescent backroads that haven't changed It's gonna take some time To get where you're going

Looking back is such a drag When you're living in the past Sweaty nights without a wink Give me too much time to think So head up the coast To settle the score There's a blue man banging on the door They're all shouting To give it all up today Things are better off this way Looking in feels like a sin When you don't know who you've been I'm at an age when nothing fits Is this as good as it gets? There's too much smoke To go anymore There's a storm cloud forming off the shore They don't want you To give it all up today Things are better off this way
